Casino O'Fortune Cookie Productions, the minds behind hit shows like Royale With Cheese: Pulp Fiction Burlesque and This Year's Girls: Elvis Costello Burlesque return to the Joe's Pub stage with the world's first burlesque tribute to the legendary troubled troubadour of American music, Johnny Cash. It's Man in Black Burlesque: Because You're Mine, I Bump 'n' Grind!
All-new performances by national striptease and variety stars will be dedicated to the entirety of his epic career, from the Sun Studios classics of his early days, to the concert at Folsom Prison to the rock & roll reimaginings of his late career. Starring A.J. Silver, Anita Cookie, Bunny Love, Clams Casino, Creamy Stevens, Scooter Pie, all the way from Chicago Bazuka Joe, a special appearance by Ariel Levine, audience participation by Neil O'Fortune, and stage panther Hard Cory. And, it's all hosted by the sultry chanteuse of Minneapolis's Lili's Burlesque Revue in her New York debut: Nadine Dubois!
