The indie music blog MusicSnobbery.com brings the hotly tipped Swedish duo First Aid Kit to Joe's Pub. Sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg offer up enchanting folk songs and toe-tapping good times from their debut album on Wichita Recordings, The Big Black & The Blue. Uncut Magazine says of the duo, "They have bell-clear voices, and a spooky ability to evince naivety and world-weariness in the same breath." There will be some laughs, and maybe some tears, during their show. Opening the evening is Brooklyn upstarts, The Loom. They'll light a fire in your belly with some ruckus Americana sounds.
