Bassist and composer Colin Dean recently released his debut CD, entitled “Shiwasu”, to critical acclaim. His music is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition while also drawing inspiration from a wide variety of styles such as world music and hip hop. This event will feature Colin Dean on bass, Rachel Z on piano, Colin Stranahan on drums, Sean Nowell on tenor and soprano saxophones, with special guest hip hop MC's Eternia and Hasan Salaam.
