Show Description

Dubbed "Best Oddball Night" by New York Magazine, RecordSetter LIVE! features an all-star lineup of New York City performers setting unique world records. The night is hosted by Universal Record Database (URDB) co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson, known for their regular segments on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Brooklyn jazz trio Blast Off!!! serve as the house band.

Previous RecordSetter events have seen the likes of Reggie Watts, Morgan Murphy, M. Doughty, Arden Myrin, AJ Jacobs, Kumail Nanjiani, Joe Mande and Owen Biddell set records they've invented themselves. Sold-out crowds have witnessed and participated in feats like Fastest Time to Name All Star Trek TV Episodes in Broadcast Order, Most Costume Changes While Listening to Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' and Largest Group "Meow" Rendition of 'Lean on Me'. All records are documented on video and added to the URDB website for people around the world to challenge.
                                                                                                                            
"Our live events bring out a mix of individual bravery, group participation, hilarity, surprise and all-around general chaos," says Rollman. "We've seen everything from an onstage wedding proposal to the world's tallest carrot cake to 12 women standing on top of a man rolled up in a carpet."
