Josh T Pearson, formerly of Lift to Experience, released his debut solo
album Last Of The Country Gentlemen on March 29th to widespread acclaim
here and abroad, after a self- imposed hiatus that stretched out over
ten years. Pearson’s solo debut is a collection of seven songs drawn
from the lessons of what he describes as “a rough year.” The songs
themselves are personal, powerful, painful and move with their brutal
honesty, offering hope from the trials he’s suffered and survived. The
songs were recorded in a Berlin and it is without doubt the bravest
album you’ll hear in 2011.
