Huffington Post named
Gabe Dixon's One Spark album among The "Best Music Of 2011," Record
Collector says Dixon is "a fresh new voice in the power-pop
firmament" and legendary artist Jackson Browne writes "it's been
a while since I've heard something so original."
Dixon's 2009 self-titled band album was hailed as
one of the "Best Of The Year" by Paste, American Songwriter,
Performing Songwriter and in the year-end Village Voice critics poll.
Dixon's latest LP sees the liberated artist rocketing past his
previous work. The Sunday Times calls One Spark "an album full of effortlessly
melodic pop songs” and Record Collector proclaims the album is "awash
with hooks, harmonies and melodies that refuse to budge from your heart… smart
savvy and utterly seductive.”
On the new album, Dixon's voice & piano still
frame his critically acclaimed songs, but do so in the fuller more immediate
company of two guitars, drums and bass. The album features
co-writes with two Grammy Award winning writers and a duet with the most
awarded female artist in Grammy history - Alison Krauss. Dixon's songs have
been featured in numerous TV shows and films, including his song
"Find My Way" as the main title theme for the #1 Sandra Bullock film
"The Proposal." Dixon is also recognized as the "go
to" pianist of choice, having handled keyboard duties for artists as
varied as Paul McCartney, Supertramp, and Alison Krauss.

Hot off the heels of an incredibly successful run of West Coast shows, the soulful indie/pop songstress Lelia Broussard is about to hit it big after claiming her spot in the top two of Rolling Stone’s ‘So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star’ contest. Hand-picked as one of the best unsigned artists in the nation by the editors of Rolling Stone and Atlantic Records, Lelia performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon shortly afterwards. Originally born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Broussard grew up in a single parent household and was immersed in the rich and diverse music scene at a very young age. At just three years old, Broussard attended her first concert at the Cajun Dome seeing the legendary performer Paul Simon. At the tender age of six, she was selected to perform Patsy Cline's "Crazy" in front of 15,000 people in that very same venue. She hasn’t looked back since. Moving to Philadelphia, PA at the age of 13, she started writing her own songs and quickly started recording and independently releasing her own albums and amassing an ever growing, devoted fan base. She has toured extensively throughout the US since 2007.
