Lauren Elder is an actress, singer-songwriter and whistler living in New York City. Most recently seen on HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Lauren has also performed on Broadway and London's West End in the revival of Hair, as well as numerous jazz clubs around the city. Lauren blends the sweet sounds of the ukulele with influences of folk, jazz and pop to create her unique sound, which she then records in her closet, huddled between her vintage dresses.
