Wandering Star: Tales from the Road is an autobiographical cabaret act performed, written, and conceived by Julie Benko. Through personal anecdotes and songs from diverse musical styles ranging from jazz, pop, folk, and Broadway, the show recounts her triumphs, failures, and misadventures touring North America from the young age of 19 with the national tours of Spring Awakening and Les Misérables and her subsequent travels throughout the world. With guest appearances by Jake Epstein (Degrassi: The Next Generation, Broadway's Spiderman) and sister Allison Benko, "Wandering Star" tells the story of one young woman finding her place in a great big world.
