SALT AND SAMOVAR (4/19 at 11:30)
I love Salt & Samovar’s invigorating tonic of blues, gospel, and good old-fashioned rock & roll. It’s laced with three part harmony sing-a-longs and expert musicianship.

Alex's Pick:
CHALK TALK (4/18 at 7:00)
Our in house archival illustrator Michael Arthur is going to do some of his amazing live drawings of his Carroll Gardens friends and neighbors Balthrop, Alabama and Cathlin De Marrais.  The concept is a Joe's Pub first and the music (poignant, playful indie-pop) is just way too good to pass up.  If you need some convincing, just listen Balthrop's "Explode" and you'll instantly fall in love like I did.
