Can I give Membership as a gift?
Absolutely. You can purchase a gift certificate equal to the value of a Membership, which the recipient can then redeem. You can also set up a gift membership by visiting us in person at the Taub Box Office (which opens at 2pm, or 1 hour prior to the first performance of the day) or by calling 212.967.7555.

By becoming a Member, will I be guaranteed tickets to shows I want to see, when I want to see them?
No. All Member tickets are subject to availability.
Members are strongly encouraged to access their benefits and book tickets during the Priority Access period in order to lock in seats before a show sells out. Many shows do sell out and some sell out quickly.
In the event that a show becomes sold out, Members will be given priority notification if and when performances are added.
If you are considering joining as a Member in order to see a show that is already on-sale please be sure to check that seats are available for purchase. Some shows or performances may already be sold out and seats may not be available regardless of your new Membership status.
Are tickets included in the cost of Membership?
No. The Membership contribution does not include tickets.
Members will be alerted when the Priority Access period is open in order to book tickets before the general public.
For Premium Members ($500+), your contribution does include reserved seating at Free Shakespeare in the Park.
How can I get even earlier access to shows & events?
Join as a Public Supporter, with a gift starting at $500, and enjoy earlier access before other Members and the general public and enjoy two (2) reserved seats to a production of Free Shakespeare in the Park.
How is Membership different from Subscription?
Unlike a traditional subscription, where you book seats to a series of performances in a season and the cost of the subscription is contingent on a particular package level, with Membership there are no prepaid packages or large upfront financial commitments. Membership is completely flexible and you can choose just the shows you want.
